High quality Videos pause in the computer

    Hi everyone
    A strange problem happens to me ..!
    my high Quality videos like AVI & MPEG videos Pause every 2 or 3 seconds ..
    I didn't do anything to the videos
    I didn't Convert the videos
    i thought it might be A virus doing thease stuff so I Scanned my Computer Using An Anti-virus , but it didn't work.
    So I formatted the computer but the problem still in .. !
    the videos were fine .. I was Playing them very well .
    Please Help ...!

    Check the task manager and see if it is spiking close to 100%
    when the video is playing.

    windows taskmanger lies!

    what is you media player?
    what codec(s) packs do you have installed?? (you should only have one)

    revert to default settings in your media player.........
