Hi all, I bought a Hitachi widescreen tv three months ago. After getting it in the house and changing the settings the way we wanted, we ended up rearranging the living room a few times. Each time I moved it I had to unplug it. Each time the settings were always retained. Yesterday I had to move it again to make room for the Christmas tree and now all of a sudden, the setting are erased when it's unplugged. I've reset it and unplugged it several times to verify the problem. Not only that, but now I have a significant blue tint to everything on every channel and when playing dvd's. It didn't used to be this way, I don't know what the problem is. I can modify the settings and lessen the blue tint, but it definetely still there. Anybody have a clue what might be going on? I bought a service plan with the tv so I can call and have a tech look at it, but I'd just like to know if anybody has this tv and is having the same types of problems. Thanks, Jim.

Nevermind. Called Hitachi and they walked me through a few tests. The tv is toast. 3 months old. $1600. Toast. I thought Hitachi was one of the best brands out there?? They've arranged for it to be picked up and repaired. Now I have to miss a day of work while I wait around to have the tv picked up. Then I have to miss another day when they bring it back. What a freakin' hassle. 3 months old. $1600. And it's Toast. Not happy!
