hitachi flashing help

    hey i have a bad hitachi drive and i saved the key off of it can anyone help me flash ix on it i loaded up the org firmware and loaded the ix firmware and spoof the keys but im not have any luck?

    What do you mean by "bad" Hitachi?

    If by "bad" you mean that you messed up a flash on it, it is bricked. Luckily you have that drive key, so you can buy a new drive, either a Hitachi or a BenQ, and flash your key to the new drive.

    for the love of god please do not get another hitachi!!! benQ is great and about $30 on ebay or other sources. I am just waiting for my hitachi to take a $hit on me and its benQ time!! just remember, the key is the KEY!! g

    I was modding an Xbox for a friend once and bricked his Hitachi when the program froze. So I ordered another Hitachi... and the program froze again, thus bricking drive #2.

    So I ordered a BenQ and have been happy ever since :p
