Hitachi Pot Calibration Setting

    I got a hitachi drive thats giving me dirty dis errors. anyone out there preform a POT calibration on one of thease? Do you know what setting you used?.....

    and yes i have searched all info i have found was on how to preform the calibration. I already know hot to do it i just need some advice on settings.

    As long as you don't go below 2.8, you should be fine.

    Go in .25 or .5 ohm increments until you get there.

    I had to do this to my DJ47 when it gave me open tray errors on backed up games, now I'm having an issue with another Hitachi, this time a 46, its stock (for now) but reads discs and DVDs does this POT calibration apply?

    If it reads discs and DVDs, you don't need to do this calibration, no.
