here is a copy of my HJT log, and my computer is so slow especially onm the net, and starting up, sometimes it can take up to 3-5mins after windows is logged in befire anything is useable because of so much crap has set itself to run on startup, how can i get rid of all this stuff so only the bare essentails run on startup....windows stuff and avg ? so itll start up quicker

also just recently when i turn on it flashes the windopws loading screen but then goes black and stay no matter how many times i reset or do safe mode as soon as i try to run normally it was goping black and just got lucky this time :?

    I don't like the looks of these: O2 - BHO: Burn4Free Toolbar Helper - {D187A56B-A33F-4CBE-9D77-459FC0BAE012} - C:\Program Files\Burn4Free Toolbar\v3.3.0.1\Burn4Free_Toolbar.dll (file missing) and O3 - Toolbar: Burn4Free Toolbar - {4F11ACBB-393F-4C86-A214-FF3D0D155CC3} - C:\Program Files\Burn4Free Toolbar\v3.3.0.1\Burn4Free_Toolbar.dll (file missing)

as far as the startup processes you'll go to start, run, type: msconfig, ok, "startup" tab, and deselect any programs you recognize and don't want to startup.

As far as the windows loading problem, I'm not sure what would cause that except for a virus/malware, hardware malfunction, or corrupt startup files. The fact that its sporadic stumps me though. How old is your computer? Is it a laptop or desktop? If a desktop, give a quick run down of what you have... Hope this helps.

I'm thinking you are having hardware problems. Either the hard drive is on its way out or you have defective ram. If its the hard drive you would probably hear louder than normal clicking sounds from inside the computer as the hard drive light shows activity. If you don't here anything abnormal, you may look into the cheaper and less time consuming route and replace your ram. I don't have your full specs so I can't tell you what kind you need but if you go to memorystock.com they have a program that automatically scans and tells what type and how much your computer supports. I personally like to order parts from newegg.com because they are usually cheapest online and have the best RMA dept.

Let me know whats going on or what you decide to do...

BTW have you run any scans yet? (ex: spybot sd, adaware, ccleaner, avg, etc. ) rule out software problems before replacing hardware if possible between resets/crashes. lol

well the HDD isnt making any unusual loud noises, and ive thought about adding more ram as im running 256ddr atm but ive since been told that the motherboard cant support and more ram or a faster cpu so its basically a full new system i have to get if i have to upgrade anything

here is wjhat the memory test has told me:

Compatible memory required for : Model Name: MS-6561
    Motherboard Model: MS-6561
    Maximum Memory: 3 GB
Total Slots: 3 (Currently Memory in 1 Slots)
    Memory Size: 256 MB,
    Memory Speeds: MHz,
    Processor Speed: 1150
    Manufacturer: MSI

strange that it tells me i can have 3gig of ram and i was told by a computer tech i know that it cant take any more ?

and yes i run ccleaner and AVG reguarly to scan and dump rubbish crap off the hdd

If that model # is right then these are the specs and what it can support: http://us.msi.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=745_Ultra&class=mb

Straight off of MSI's website on that model number
    "Support Socket A (Socket 462) AMD® Athlon/Athlon XP/Duron processor up to 2000+MHz "
"Support up to 3GB DDR333/DDR266/DDR200 SDRAM"

Like I said, if that is the right model number then your guy was completely wrong.

If you decide to get ram then replace the one you have because I think it may be the culprit. I'd just go ahead and get the three gigs to max it out. 3 X 1 gig each to fill each slot evenly to max. Otherwise don't ever go over a gig each slot. You don't have to worry about how many slots you do fill up on your mobo though because its not dual channel.

For you that would end up being around 120 bucks with everything if you go to newegg.com around $35 each plus tax/shipping

    I hope that wasn't confusing...
