Recently started getting something pop up about WinAntiVirus. Computer also seems to be slow when it probably shouldn't be.

Hello VulcanOne, this will destroy the popups, but there are more infections that need to be cleaned also.

    Download VundoFix to your desktop.

    Double-click [bold]VundoFix.exe[/bold] to run it.
    Click "[bold]Scan for Vundo[/bold]".
    Once it's done scanning, click "[bold]Remove Vundo[/bold]".
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click [bold]YES[/bold].
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click [bold]OK[/bold].

Please post back with contents of C:\vundofix.txt along with a new HijackThis log.

There's still more Vundo and the scanner isn't picking it out so you'll need to add the file manually.

    Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Right click inside the white Window.
Select Add More Files? from the menu that comes up. This will open a new VundoFix window.
In the Window: copy/paste the following in the first field: [bold]C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\nnnkkkh.dll[/bold]
Copy/paste the following in the second field: [bold]C:\WINDOWS\system32\hkkknnn.*[/bold]
    Click the Add Files button.
    Click the Close Window button.
    Click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES.
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
    Turn your computer back on.

Download SmitfraudFix.zip to the desktop from here.
    * Extract the files to the desktop.

[bold]Note[/bold]: Note: Print or copy these instructions to Notepad and save them. You will be in safe mode and can't access the internet.

    * Restart your computer in safe mode(press F8 upon boot, select "Safe Mode" from menu and press Enter).
    * Open the SmitFruadFix folder.
    * Double-click smitfraudfix.cmd.
    * Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
    * You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
    * The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
    * A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt.

Exit Smitfraudfix and restart in normal mode.
Please post back with the contents of vundofix.txt, the contents of rapport.txt and a new HijackThis log.

The popup still exists because there's still more Vundo. There's no 02 or 020 entires, which means the Vundo is hiding them. We'll work on that after you post the new HjT log.

There's still the new Smitfraud file showing. S!ri must have not updated SmitfraudFix to rid and delete the new Smitfraud yet. No worries though, we can delete it manually.

Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall(if listed):
    [bold]Viewpoint Toolbar
    Viewpoint Manager
    Security Toolbar[/bold]

Run a scan only with HijackThis, check these(if there):

Please disable Windows Defender. It may interfere with the fixes. You may re-enable it after these fixes are complete.

    Open Windows Defender.
Click on Tools > General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck "Turn on real-time protection (recommended)".
After you unchecking click "Save" and close Windows Defender.

Add this file to VundoFix just as you did the other:

    First line: [bold]C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtsr.dll[/bold]
    Second line: [bold]C:\WINDOWS\system32\rstwa.*[/bold]

After the reboot fix these with HijackThis(if there). Be sure to close all other windows before clicking "Fix checked".

    O20 - Winlogon Notify: winhab32 - winhab32.dll (file missing) [/bold]

Then, run an online scan to make sure there are no other infections.

Go here to run [bold]Kaspersky Online Scanner[/bold].
After downloading, click "[bold]My Computer[/bold]" to scan.
After scanning, click "[bold]Save report as[/bold]".
Save as a text file on the desktop.
Post the log in your next reply.

    Terrific, no more infections. :)

Clear your System Restore and create a new restore point.
    Turn off [bold]System Restore[/bold].
    Right click [bold]My Computer[/bold] > [bold]Properties[/bold] > [bold]System Restore tab[/bold] > check "[bold]Turn off System Restore[/bold]".
    Click Apply, then OK.
Restart then turn System Restore back on.

How are things? Any more problems or symptoms?
