hmmm wheres the subs? sigh

    ok i downloaded 16 gb of anime..all .avi ...and i need vobsub to view the subtitles in windows media..my question is how do i encode these so i can watch em on my dvd player? (with the subs) im using nerovision express. theres no .sub file or anything like that for me to merge or anything. im not sure if this is a stupid question but ive looked all over the place an cant seem to find an answer to my particular problem..or maybe i just dont know what to look for lol. but any help at all would be appreciated

    Well if there are no external subs and the subs are not hard encoded, then that means the subtitle streams are internal. You can demux the subs with AVI-Mux GUI. If you are using NVE though then you would be using directshow to render the subs anyway wouldn't you? So it should work with internal subs or you are frameserving?
