Hey'a I am running XP/SP2. I am trying to edit some video using Ulead Media Studio Pro 7 (video editor), but for some reason when I click on the shortcut to start the programme, it no longer runs? I thought maybe the shortcut was corrupt, so I've tried to run the programme direct from the programs folder, clicking on the editor executable veditor.exe, but it wont run from there either. I just used the Ulead MSP7 Capture programme without any problems. I uninstalled the programme, and reinstalled it, but still no go. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks in advance guys.... Michaela
the only thing i can think of is, if you have had a tv as a 2nd screen and the app by default is running on that 2nd screen. another thing is to check your process information {ctrl alt del} and see if there are any dubious processs running. check your system for spyware/adware , make shure you have the latest drivers , the usual suspects, you know. also check if there are any newer updates for ulead, this might rectify it, or even se of there are any other users having the same prob as you. the problem is so wide and unspecific , it could be anything. if all else fails, use adobe premier pro, its excellent.
Thanks Sukie, I was using it perfectly okay, and then this just 'happened'. But I'll check all the usual stuff again. I wouldn't want to change programmes though....I have used Adobe, but I really love media studio, so I think I'll stick with it. Thanks again for your help. Cheers.....Michaela
