I maintain a playlist of my favorite songs in my media library, and I sync this to my mp3 player using WMP, but...

I also have a laptop that I travel with and I would like to sync this playlist to it. Ideally I would like to share the laptop's music folder on the network and then be able to sync all songs in my playlist to that folder as if it were a portable device.

Does anybody know of a program where I can load a playlist (m3u support is fine) and then sync those songs to this folder?

An alternative would be to find a program which can emulate a usb portable device and link it to the folder.

Somebody please help me out, this should be such a simple thing yet it is proving to be very difficult. I am trying to avoid having to go through my library and copying each individual song.

Normally I use foobar2k as my default player..However one of the reasons I use iTunes is to link all my/our family systems on our network..It's called 'Home Sharing' you can import items from up to five iTunes libraries on your home network..We share all mp3's as well as AAC files..
    Works nicely for my needs...
