I got a DVD Camcorder that is pretty much brand new. I video taped my sons wedding with it, and would like to make copies of DVD's that will play on a normal DVD player. How would I do so? I have the programs: Roxio "My DVD", and Nero. I have tried burning several copies, but none of them read in my player! Please help!

    Thanks

    hi,

If you have both on your pc at the same time i would suggest you have one or the other not both.Roxio doesnt like other programs violating its space on a pc and can cause irrational behaviour.

heres a link for nero clean tools:

    http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html

    and one for roxio zapper

Its up to you which one you use.

When you imported the video from your camcorder to you pc what format was the file.Avi, mpeg...we need to know as if its avi or another mpeg format you will need to use a converter to convert the file to mpeg2 before you will be able to burn it to dvd disc with nero and then ultimately play it in a standalone dvd player
