ok so i was trying to hook up my computer to my tv using an s video cable to rca since my tv is not an hdtv. so i set my tv as the primary monitor or something like that because my monitor was screwed up and i wanted to continue using my computer meanwhile i find a new monitor. now here is the big problem. wen i tried to make it work all i got was fuzzyness and now that i have a new monitor and i hook it up it turns on and shows the windows thing but once the computer starts to load up it turns off, im guessing its switching to the tv. does anyone know how to fix it so that i can ether see it on my tv or use my monitor because right now i cant do ether. i can access the settings when you first turn on the computer with my monitor by pressing f10 if that helps at all.

Seems odd, usually when you unplug it from the tv and restart it automatically defaults back to the monitor.

Some computers have a key combination to switch through the different monitors. Others you can set youself.
My computer uses fn and f4. Otherwise you would need to be able to see what is happening on your computer. You could look for an option to disable tv output in the bios but I'm not sure if that is usually an option.

What usually happens with tv output is that it gets set to the wrong format to the tv, if in North America you get PAL when you want NTSC. The result is a black and white mess on the screen. Usually there is a way to set this. It may require you to get software from the video card manufacturer.
