After trying unsuccessfully on a Mac to burn backups using Roxio TOAST (the only thing I toasted was 20 or so DVD-R disks), I enjoyed my first success on a new Dell laptop using advice and software recommended on these afterdark forums - THANKS! First I decoded and shrank with Decrypter and Shrink (easy programs that are free - woohoo!) then I tried to use Sonic (preloaded on the Dell) to burn the DVD - oh well - one more coaster... Then I downloaded the Nero Demo and - SHAZAM! - one back up copy of BEWITCHED - (sorry for the poor sample video choice, but there you go...). So why all of this background? Just this - Nero worked - I'm glad - but the DEMO runs out in one week...and I don't see myself paying $50 to $80 to buy/register a copy of NERO. Does anyone in this forum know of a solid freeware option for the buring potion of the copy process that will work as well as Nero has? I was so happy to finally be successful, but I don't see myself shelling out that much moolah to duplicate a couple disks. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Jef
