Nah, XP is merely a 2k with bunch of bells and whistles bundled over it to make it more unstable. So, 2k is the operating system to use until MS next time actually does something useful to their OS.

Anyway, some users have reported that their XP works with IFOEdit, but no one has been able to tell why it works for them and not for the majority of XP users.

I made a new system, AMD Athlon 1.5 with Windows Xp using CladDVD XP to rip, IfoEdit latest version and burn with B's Recorder Gold. I also use ASPI Driver for Windows version 4.71 and went online to Microsoft and installed all of the latest updates. Being
a newbee I have not exercised all features of IfoEdit but I can play the movie and produce
a backup of the movie only using IfoEdit, that would have not fit on the DVD before using
    it.
At first I had an older ASPI Driver and I did not update the SO, Ifoedit did not work, would not play a movie.
But when I installed ASPI 4.71 and did the OS update it worked. I now do not have any problem using XP so far.
And no, I don't work for MS .

I also want to thank all of you that helped me by reading your posts!
