Keep the optical drives and the hard drive, sell the rest, and start fresh. You can keep the case if you like, but bin the power supply and get a proper one.

it's a 1 unless you want to play with linux then it's a 10. You won't get much for the parts as specs are at least 4 years old.
I would save the case get a new power supply, keep parts sam stated and build a new system. You'll save about 80-100 on the parts you reuse.

Depends what you want to do with it. As a games PC, it's 2. As a works machine you do office stuff or run Linux on, maybe 6. It's only not higher because ECS motherboards are inescapably awful.

Yeah agreed keep your optical drives and HD, their fine, case is a matter of preference but everything else is old, outdated or out of spec by today's standards. I would say it's not even qualified to run at a public library..

For gaming that thing is hopeless, modern games nowadays recommend a minimum 1Gb of RAM, a graphics card that supports 3.0 Pixel Shaders (yours doesn't) and 2.2Ghz Dual Core processor or higher.
If your just using it for homework, internet browsing, burning CD's, oddjobs, etc... then yeah, it'll last no problems, but for gaming, it's useless.

Well, I think that's pretty accurate, apart from the library comment, which is a little harsh/false.
