How Best to Make a Simple VCD movie from stills?

I have a piece of poetry - 7 minutes - illustrated with still pics of the verses. Want to put it on VCD.

Adobe Premier made a 1.3 Gigabyte file of that 7 minute thing.

Ulead DVD crawls along and made a VCD that tells me to switch on PCB whatever the hell that is. I'm in china with a Chinese dvd player and can't find PCB.

What's the easiest way for me to do this thing?

 

to creat a VCD from images , I use Ulead Video Studio
so I put the images in the time line after that I put the transition effects between the images in the time line after that go to share and select [bold] creat disk [/bold] option . a wizard will apear to you and it's a very easy one .
