ive got that Sonic mydvd program but when i try to add an avi file it says "error reading make sure you have the right codecs downloaded" i normally dont have this problem if the videos are in mpeg format is their a way to covert it or is their some other codec i need to download??
Give "DivxToDvd" a try I recently tried that with an .avi of mine an I'm very pleased. But make sure you get the freeware version, I think it's v.0.5, Not the new shareware v.1.9. unless you want it to have and advertisment on the top of whatever it is you encode. Other than cosmetic differences I haven't noticed much of a difference between the two. Good Luck.
ok i downloaded that vso divxtodvd program but it does put their stupid ad on top of my movie, does anyone know of any other program that works but doesnt advertise on the top half of the movie you convert??
Hi, i havn't tried it my self yet, about to soon, but theres a program my mate uses called vso Avi to DVD, hopefully it doesn't leave a ad/watermark on the movie. Good luck, and ill post my results.
Right beneath your nose all the time: *_* http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm Happy avi converting!
Hi i found out the new version has ads at the top, the old ones dont.. I got the old one, and got my self the trial of ClickToDVD, all works a treat.. Thanks
i still only see the newest version on the link you posted, am i missing where to download the older one somewhere? i need the version 0.5. right? not 1.9.
Hi blackie 1 rry here http://download2.vso-software.fr/vsoDivxToDVD_free_setup.exe this is the older version or was last time I visited it.
Hello callum91, The VSO DivxToDVD v1.99.13 Pre-Release does add a Watermark to your video output. When purchased, the speed will double and the watermark will go away. As other stated, you can always use the v0.5.2b Freeware version. The new v2.00 will provide plenty of new features. I really enjoy the addition of Chapters to my DVD, and it has a built in burn engine. http://www.vso-software.fr/divxtodvd_history.htm for the full ChangeLog of DivxToDVD, you will see all the enhancement currently in there, and more to come like Menus !
