i have read some topics and this is how far i got... i scanned the game with aray program ... then i made a mds with alcohol120% and i set the datatype to SecuROM ... then afterwards i burned that mds to a dvd... but the game doesnt work , it says please insert the original disc... Ps aray scanned and it sayd: SecuROM 7.00.00.0104 detected Pss sorry for my bad english... im belgian greetz bonzy
You've got the method down pat there bonzy, but just in case, have you searched through the Alcohol forums for solutions? "insert original disc" is very common with PC game ripping, the software is doing a media check..just to make sure all is legit. Over the years I have used 120's forums and search function and I'd like to say it's gotten me over the line...everytime, but sadly not always. However you might be the exception to a rule. Have a real good wander through their stuff and see what transpires. Again, sadly, I have no immediate solution to the insert orig disc prob. Best of luck.
