Hi, I have got a big probs. I upgraded firmware version 1.41 for 4x media. But I cant write many of 2x media with my 104 Pioneer with the 1.41 firmware. Does anyone konw how to downgrade again to 1.31? Thank in advance!!
On another thred the user said to use 1.40 which would allow you to go any where you want. Perhaps this will work.
Yes go to www.firmware.co.uk and install 1.40 then install your choice thereafter (1.31 is pretty good).

My firmware is 1.41 not 1'40!! There is no option i can find to downgrad 1'31 from 1'41(. Anyway thanks for helping.
Well where did you d/l the new 1.41 firmware from ? I've not heard of 1.41 yet on http://forum.rpc1.org/index.php . And that is where I usually rely on info myself. If all else fails..I'd say it might come down to a HARDWARE HACK [ http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?t=7784 ]
I have found that 1.41 firmware at the www.dvd-recordable.org site. It is not good firmware at all for 2x ...as far as i know 1.31 is the best one.
Ask FLASHMAN or Gradius on this site http://forum.rpc1.org/index.php They help write firmware on occasion
