I have 2 DVD's that have multiple VTS's and VOB's in them. They are a recording of a football game using 2 differnt cameras. I would like to take the 2 DVD's and make one movie using the 2 camera angles, but edit it in a way so that I can merge the different angles recorded from the 2 cameras of the same play together and make 1 movie. 1) Is it possible to extract the Mpeg 2 files from the VOB files? If so, how and with what programs? 2) Is it possible to trim, cut, add, and combine multiple mpeg 2 files? If so, how and with what program.
VOB2MPG ( http://www.svcd2dvd.com/downloads.aspx ) VideoReDo ( http://www.videoredo.com/ ) Long trial- request a trial key.
the best way to edit vob files is with nero. its really easy to use and worth the money. if u dont feel like paying some cash, then id imagine that dvd shrink would work 2. u just gotta fiddle around with it, until it works.
Does Nero allow you to make the vob's into one continuous movie or stream in either the mpeg or vob format? This is important to me since I am trying to merge mutiple mini dvd's into one dvd using DVD Lab Pro (DLP), and DLP will only use elementry mpg streams or vob's. So in order for me to make one continuous movie, I need one continous stream in mpg or consecutive vob's.
yes nero does let you make the vobs into one consecutive movies. also you can take parts from each of vobs and put them into any order.
