The sound volume in a video is way too low . Is there a quick fix to this issue ? How can I increase the sound volume of the clip without to go through the demux-remux process . Thanks...

    One way is using AviDemux.
Assuming it's an .avi file using mp3:
    Load/drag the file into AviDemux.
on the left side select 'Audio' > 'mp3' then 'Filters'
Set the gain (3db doubles the apparent volume).
Depending on which of the two GUI's, click the 'Save' logo or 'File' > 'Save' > 'Save Video'
Give the output file a name (including the extension) e.g. newfile.avi
