Ok first off I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the Nero forum, so sorry if it's in the wrong place. Anyways, here's my problem. I have an entire series of my favorite TV show on my HD, there's 22 episodes which are all around 180 MB each. 3.93 GB in total according to the folder properties. Should all fit on a DVD, right? Not according to NeroVision Express anyway. When I add ANY of the episodes it takes up 800 MB in the size bar thingie at the bottom, meaning I can get like 5 episodes per DVD...:\ What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
You are Doing nothing wrong...The Size of your AVI files has absolutly no bearing on how much you can Fit on a DVD ,Your AVI Files could be 180mb or 18,000mb and it would mean nothing concerning how much Video you will get on a DVD.... What determines how much you can fit on a DVD is the Length of your Video files and the Bitrate you use to encode them to Mpeg-2/DVD Format..... Generally (Depending on what software you use) you can Fit about 2 hours to maybe 2.5 hours of Video on a DVD in Standard DVD Format maybe less when useing "Nero Vision express" because it"s encodeing Quality is Terrorable.... When useing other DVD Standards you can Fit up to 4 hours or even more than 6 hours on a DVD but at the expence of quality but you couldn"t use "Nero vision expres" to make those DVD"s because Nero only supports One of the 4 DVD Standards which basicly makes the Program only usefull to the Very in-experienced.... Good luck
