How can I make windows media player my default in vista?

Sometimes the internet plays videos in quicktime instead of media player. How can I set media player to play all files in vista home 32 bit?

 

Quicktime should have an option to set itself as the default for a number of file types.
Uncheck all the file types you want the player to run.
Of course there are some files that media will not play thus the need for QT.
