Im using mozilla firefox and ive tried downloading the youtube videos but they are in flv or flash format. how can i record/copy them in a format i can actually use or watch?? thanks in advance
Hey, blackie1, you must use a third-party tool to convert the FLV file to popular video formats like AVI, MPEG. For converting the flv, please visit the link below to carefully read the final paragraph. http://www.soft29.com/how-to/download-video-from-youtube.htm I wish it is helpful.
When I download a youtube video I use a site called youtubex.com. After finding the video I want to save on youtube I copy and past the url into the appropriate window at the youtubex site and hit download. In a second or two a new page will appear with the picture for that film and a download link. To view .flv files there is none better than the free FLV Player, available for free at download.com.
Ok i got the "super" program installed, allthough i cant fugure out how to use it. can someone help me convert an flv file on this program? thanks.
Blackie. Email me at [email address removed] I will reply with instructions in an email if you still have not figured it out. It is kind of complicated at first.
@Thailand8 If you like getting spam emails I would leave your email address up otherwise remove it asap. And if you ever need to give someone in the forums your email address then send it to them in a pm.
