How can I resize mp3 further? I want to put songs on my mobile cellphone but my mp3 songs are too big. what can I do?
You can use this free program and set the Preferences to a lower bit rate... http://nch.com.au/switch/
Here is a bit rate rule of thumb from off the top of my head. CD/lossless 12,000-13,000 the limit of perfect hearing 320 (persons must be under 20 yrs old to physically hear all that is saved in a 320 BR tune. By 25 you can onlt hear up to 18 Khz and by 30, the best ears can only hear below 16KHz, so 190 is about all you can hear.) itunes 128 HD radio 90 FM radio 70 AM radio 50 Phone 30 Even 70 is fairly good quality but I would 'do' 30. The lowest setting on the VBR should be OK for that. It is very likely your phone may only reproduce 30 BR faithfully. If you use VBR (variable Bit Rate) the compressions are even more than anyother compression routine; the files will be tiny at approx 30BR. I would use the Helix encoder because it is the fastest and supports VBR mp3s. You can get that for free. They are the engines behind the conversion apps. Most conversion apps will allow you to select an encoder.
