How can I split a large mp3 file into smaller files??

    I recently got an audiobook, that was one large 6.5 hour mp3 file, and I am looking for a way to split it into a number of smaller files eg. 6. But is there any way I could do this without damaging the quality.

    Thanks, any help will be much appreciated.
