I tried burning a couple of DVD+Rs with Nero and DVD Decrypter and set the bit setting for DVD-ROM both time, but when I check the disc in DVD Decrypter they said DVD+R. Did I do something wrong? I'm using a Lite-On SHW-160P6S

Decrypter should be able to set your booktype. Right click on the source/destination drive that you are using. Click on Change Book Type. Select your Lite-On tab. It should tell you what the current setting is and allow you to choose a new setting. So if you want DVD-ROM and you have set it already, there is no need to choose a new setting.

Nero CD-DVD Speed also allows for bit setting under the Extra tab. It is a free download whether you have Nero or not.
