I have a Pentiun 2 CPU that is pulled from a server. A guy who wants to buy the server says that my model of server doesn't have a 400mHz cpu. The numbers are 80523PY400512PE SL2U6 98451013-0002 I noticed the 400512, and that seems to me to indicate 400mhz 512K cache. Any ideas if i am wrong? Thanks

This is what i found searching part of the number provided, you should know that intel put individual numbers onto their processors in the "bios" and physically lasered onto the chip, im fairly certain you are correct in you assertion that this is a PII 400mhz

I was just looking at my brothers pII 450, and it has 450512 where i had 400512, so i am pretty confident on my guess.
