HOW CAN I TRANSFER SONGS TO IPOD?PLZ HELP!!!!!!! plz

    hey, well, i got the black video ipod. that is 30GB. i download my music from ARES. it was free so i started using that instead of limewire or whatever else. Well, i download ITUNES and i hooked my IPOD cord into the computer then i plugged it into my ipod then all of a sudden sum songs started going to my ipod. i have 1934 songs on my ipod. thats not how many songs i have downloaded tho. but in my libraby on my itunes i have 1954. where is my other 20 songs at? well anyways.. ive downloaded bunch more songs off ARES.. and its not on my itunes.. and i was wondering how do i get songs on my itunes to go on my ipod?? BC I REALLY WANNA LISTEN TO MY IPOD!!!!!!!!! please please help me ppl!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!

    after ur ipod finishes updatin, check if ther r any exclamatio marks next 2 any files. if ther r, it means itunes cant locate dem. jus delete dem from ur library and den add dem again. it should work

    hey there.. it does say that "so and so" song is unable to locate still want to update? or something like that and i say ok. so what does that mean??
    so are u sayin since it has a msg that says that a song isnt able to locate i need 2 delete all of them dats n my library then unplug and plug it back up and all of them and plus more shud cum back up and then update to my ipod??
    and if i delete em.. will they delete from my ipod????? THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

    If you get an exclamation mark and an 'unable to locate' message, it's more than likely that you have deleted them from your computer, which will explain the missing 20 songs from your iPod.

    Yes, if you update after deleting a song from iTunes, you will lose that song from your iPod.
