hi guys, my softmodded xbox recently died on me, so i picked up another 2nd hand one. the HDD in the dead xbox is softmodded, with loads of stuff on that i'd rather not lose. is it possible to somehow use this HDD in the 'new' xbox. i know i cant just put it in as i get an error 6 - is there any way of making this work ? hope that makes sense ! cheers Stu
Follow chunkhead's directions for replacing the HDD on a softmodded xbox, except the ISO making and all. You lock the softmodded drive with the eeprom from the second console. Basically you get the eeprom file from the second console and then copy onto and then lock the softmodded drive and then install it and you're done.
