how can i see whoz accessed my wireless network? I have a linksys compact G router, and I'm wondering if there are any programs that will give the ip address or what not of whoz been on my network. I know a buddy of mine has one for his Belkin, but it looks like u have to have that kind of router due to the fact that it's off their website.

Hey, you dont need a program. You just have to log into the router and check out the DHCP POOL and MAC Addresses. It will have a complete list of every machine that received an IP address. Check out the PC Names and MACs of your machines and see if there are others connecting to your network........hope this helps.

on the pc that the router was setup on open an internet browser and type in 192.168.1.1 and if you have never done this your username and password should be either un: blank and pw: admin or un: admin and pw: blank this will get u into ur router settings and from there u can search through the tabs

If you dont know the IP address......

    Click Start

    Run

    Type 'cmd'

In the Dos Shell type 'ipconfig/all'

The default gateway is the router.

Dont type the (') ......you have to be connected to the router.

Open a browser (Internet Explorer/Mozilla) type the IP in the address bar........
