I have an mpeg file about 700mb and I want to split it in to two files so I can use Easy VCD or Nero to burn the mpegs to VCD formate. I do not have the orginal source that the mpeg was created from. All I got is the mpeg file. Any ideas? Thanks!

Well hold on a sec, is the MPEG File VCD Compliant in the first place?

If so, then open TMPGEnc and click file - mpeg tools and click the merge and cut tab. Here you can save portions of the file, so save half in one and the second half in another. Now use VCDEasy to whatever to burn!

Or, even better, TMPGenc's Settings--->Advanced--->Source Range (select a frame where the image changes from frame N and frame N+1) so you can simultaneously convert (PAL, NTSC and so on) the movie in a proper VCD-able form (Setting-->Video-->Motion Search Precision 'Highest Quality (very slow) to avoid losing video quality).
Do this twice (remember the frame!) with TMPGenc, to do frame 0-N and frame N+1-end.

He said without re-encoding the source, but ye if the source is non standard that would be the best option!
