How can you check a dvd file pal or ntcs

    how do you check a downloaded dvd files to see if it is pal or ntsc??

    Download a program called IfoEdit. Once you download it, open it. In IfoEdit, click open (bottom left of window.) Now open the .ifo (any of them.) If the downloaded file is a image file... mount it in a virtual drive and open the .ifo file that way. In the bottom pane, you will see the DVD information... there you will see either see PAL or NTSC. Hope this help ya:p

    BTW... IfoEdit is a free download, you can also use it to edit the .ifo's so that you can trick your dvd player into playing either format. Here is a guide to show you how to that... http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=221928
