how can you get banned

    i was just wondering if a mod doesnt like you can he ban you for no reason??????????

    funny isn't it ddp as after the most recent "banning" this thread ironically just "appears" LOL

    anyways, i appreciate the discretion used as well as your good choice of words on your part when others have asked the reason WHY a certain "senior member" was banned...that was/is a TRUE sign of character. :)

    the mods probably have a really fast connection that allows them to scan through the site quickly.i know there always watching me aswell.O yeah they can banned you if they feel insulted or disrespected by your post whether you broke any of the rules or not.

    docTY, it isn't ironic as i had just finished replying to ozzymary's pm after banning doggy_bot who is now back as Dg_b. told ozzymary to stop pm'ing me about computer problems as against forum rules & i do the same to him as i did to doggy_bot. thread appeared!

    its hard to ban some one completely as they can keep re-uping over and over.they can use different user names each time.

    you can ban e-mail address's,but to day e-mail accounts are very easy to get..
    example,from (yahoo)(free e-mail accounts}
    http://www.yahoo.com/

    and banning there ip will not work as that can also ban a ton of people here.on some like aol the ip is not always the same as to each log on..

    ...but if ppl keep spawning new usernames just to cause trouble/act like idiots they're always obvious as they're like leopards who can't change their spots.

    However if someone is escorted from the building and comes back with a new name and behave then that's fine with everyone. but there's always the odd 'character' who think they're really rebelling when they keep coming back like 8 times and continuing to be prats. had one last week, i thnk he got to 4 or 5 usernames before he wore down. He seemed to start behaving but may well have spawned a new name since then but as i say, leopards and spots

    I would read the rules before saying stuff like that, it may be inferred that the mods can ban even if rules are not broken.

    So there you have it, "insulted or disrespected", pretty much the same as insults if you ask me.....

    I agree, the last reply was a stupid one......Oh dear, you edited in lots of ?. Now who is being stupid?

    I made that comment as an off the cuff reply, no offence was meant & it is not really that offensive! So, if you want to fall out, that is up to you.
