How come I cant find an access point

    I have a 20 GB PS3 and when i search for a network nothing shows up. But my computer right next to it has one and so does my sisters wii.

    The 20 gig does not have wifi built into it. You have to plug it directly into the router.

    you could get a second wireless router and network them together.

    Ouch! i must have gotten lucky then, i have a 60Gig ^_^ yah as Auslander said, ur best bet for wire-less PS3 gaming is to get 2 routers and network them. or the other option would be to wait until they have more 60G models for sale in canada and exchange yours for a 60gig

    For the 20gb PS3s, can you use a USB Network Adapter and plug it in one of the front USB ports to use on an existing Wireless Router in a residence??

    Doing that is actualy very Hard and Complicated, because you need to Disable the DHCP sever and change the ISP adresses to intweract with each other and they would need to be connected via eathernet.

    A wireless bridge would be they way to make you network larger without to much trouble!

    20gb dont have Wi-Fi just use the plain ethernet nothing wrong with it Id rather use ethernet then Wi-fi with my wii but cant etherenet is more stable but my neighbour has an unencryoted Wi-fi connection LOL! free net
