How come some bright spark hasn't created a newer version of DVD Shrink with a menu option.

    Yes I know it hasn't been supported in years but it is a relatively simple prog and yet there is nothing really that works the same way like that wonderful re-author tool. Can't make progs myself otherwise i would have done ot myself

    Nero Recode (pay for) is esentially an updated dvd shrink. The author of dvd shrink went to work for Nero, so no updates of dvd shrink will be available.

    I've been curious as to what that's all about as well. Seems to be pretty hush-hush.

    Endo is right on, Recode is as close to an updated Shrink as there is currently.
