These are probably some easily answered "noob" questions, but I've searched and haven't found anything. Here goes...I had what I thought was an mp3 collection, but when I went to burn it onto a data DVD player, found that about half the tracks are listed as "file" and half are mp3s. 1st q: how did this happen? they weren't acquired in any different way, as far as I can tell. Now here's the frustrating part--when I try to arrange the two types together on a data burning program, I can't change the preset order the program seems to want to follow. (In other words, it wants to put "files" together as opposed to the mp3s.) I've tried two different burning programs (Nero and Roxio) and I get the same behavior. Anybody know what's going on? Thanks in advance...
Ok, I see what the dvd data writer's doing...it insists on placing the files (both mp3s and "files") in alphabetical order...how can I get it to stop this?? anyone...
