I want to add a simple message saying "Please insert DVD # 2 now" to the end of a VOB (lasting about 5 seconds). Does anyone know how to do this or if its even possible ?
As far as I am aware you would have to re-encode the movie to MPEG2 then you could add 5 second still "Please Insert Disc 2" and then you could author the discs with the movie playing first then the 5 second still playing directly afterwards. You cant do this with just vob files as the vob files themselves contain more than just the movie. Tottenham
you might be able to use a program called vobspliter, this program lets you merge 2 vob's. I dont know if this will work but you chould give this a try. i made 2 vob's they last 10 seconds and they say 1.Please insert disc 1 2.Please insert disc 2 when i rip a dvd that has alot of extras i use these vobs so when you put in disc 2(extras disc) and you press play movie it says "please insert disc 1"
