how do I add the lame --alt-preset extreme to EAC

    i pasted in the space and it didn't worked

    thanks,
    but i read that with this preset my bitrate should be around 200s, and actually its around 128, how can i get it to work around 200s

    Bitrates arround 128 are quite normal if your source is (near to) mono and/or contains few high frequency content (e.g. CDs made from old remastered analog recordings). The point about VBR (e.g. aps or ape) is that you can get very low (or very high) bitrates in some cases, but quality remains at the same level.

    If you still want to "waste" bits, you can use another low bitrate limit, e.g.

    --alt-preset extreme -b 160 %s %d
