How do I backup my current and fully working image using FTP ??

    I need an idiots guide if possible. I have installed 'FLASH FXP' But dont know what to do next?? I have also made the copy of the image using the dbox remote...but how the hell do I get that on to my PC?? Do I need to change my internet settings on my PC or something?

    why put it to your pc , i usually just save mine to the dbox tmp folder ,and leave it there , or also take a copy from there and put that on my pc.

    once you make a copy of the image from the remote/dbox connect to the dbox using FTP go to the folder TMP and the image will be their with the file name imagename_backup.img - will be 8MB in size

    The image you back up using the remote only resides in the tmp folder till you next turn off the dbox. After a reboot it will be gone... best to ftp from tmp folder to pc or use y-web server by typing dbox IP into internet explorer and if your using dbox Y-Web Version 1.2.0 or higher goto Tools/Images and choose 4) Complete Flash
