How do i burn a movie to a dvd. Help

    Sorry about this dumb question but I must ask. I am trying to burn several movies which are less than 700 mb onto a 700 mb Maxell Dvd-R disc but I keep gettint a message that says the file is to big for the disc. What am I doing wrong here? I use Ashampoo and Nero software. Any help will be appreciated.

    700MB sounds like a CD, not a DVD.

    gachef51 you do understand that you have to convert the files to dvd complyment, unless your dvd player suports dvix!
