how do I Burn an Avi file so i can play it on a standard dvd player??

all you need to do is convert your avi to mpeg2 and then after the conversion burn it to disc.There are a variety of tools that can accomplish this but if you do a search through the software tab at the top of the screen you should be able to download [bold]VSO DIVX TO DVD [/bold]This program will be able to do the conversion for you.

It would be nice if you gave us some more info.
What system are you using?
what programs do you have?
what media are you using?

I have told you how to do it but unfortunately with out the other info we dont know whether or not you will be able to accomplish this as you havent specified .
