when I try to burn a dvd to my hard drive it saves as .IFO/.VOB blah blah blah. Then when I burn a second dvd onto my hard drive and it saves as the same exact name but you gotta save it in a different location. But if I try and burn both movies onto one dvd then it says that it can only burn one of the files b/c their named the same. What else can I name the file to be able to burn it onto the same disk. or what other ways can I burn more than one movie on one disk.

As a protocol for PCs, you can't have folders in the same place with the same name. An easy app to put multiple movies on 1 disc is DVD2One. Shrink will do it in Re-author, but with more work involved. DVDRemake has the function as well. You may want to add a letter or number to differentiate between your files. That's with the name. When you get to the VIDEO_TS folder, you don't tamper with the name there becaue the PC and players have to see the format with the VOB, BUP, and IFO files inside,
