    Hi there,

    To convert .mpg / .avi / .wmv etc.. files to DVD compliant files, you can use

    VSO DivxToDVD v2.00 (Pre-Release v1.99.13) --> http://www.vso-software.fr/

    It will convert your files, and it can also burn them directly since the latest version has it's built in burn engine now !

    And lots of new features to come in future releases !

    Hi there,

    Yes, conversion takes a long time and is very CPU intensive.

    Takes me about 1 hour to convert a 700mb .avi file with my P4 3.2Ghz

    my pc is an AMD 2600+ AND I GET the same times as cougar_ii.What are you doing when the encoding is taking place as the program you are using requires 100% of your system resources to function at optimum capacity
