I am using Nero 7 Ultra Edition and have downloaded a movie from a usenet group.

After extracting the movie file, I ended up getting a folder with video and info files.

How do I burn these files onto a dvd disk?

    Hi pinesol
    Welcome to aD.
You can burn the folder - make sure the folder is named video_ts. You can open & add that in Burning Rom or Express using the dvd-video option.

Didn't add up the total size of all these files may be a bit too big for a single layer disc. For that you can open the video_ts folder in Recode to compress & fit to one.

    What's total folder size?

    Hi, Binkie7,

    Thank you for your help.

I used Nero Recode function to burn it. Now, I can play the movie with Intervideo WinDVD on my computer, but my Toshiba Video/VCD recorder/player refuses to play it saying the format is "undefined".

Can you help me to edit the video files before I burn them again so that I can play the movie on my Toshiba player?

Ok let's check a few things.
°Which option in Recode did you use? There are a few - to play on a dvd player use 1 of the 1st 3 - like Recode an Entire DVD. If you used Nero Digital could be the problem.

°Check the format (PAl or NTSC) the video is in - does your dvd player play that format? If you have AnyDVD just pop the disc in (have the setting 'show new media information' checked) and it will show you what format it's in.
Or check the format in vobblanker (free). Here's a link to show you:

    Can download it here:

°How about the discs you used? - or + R does your dvd player accept that format of disc. Can check here - just need make & model:

    Keep us posted!
