Me too! I am looking to record real media streams from the net.

WM/RM Recorder sofware from http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/rmrecorder-save-Real-stream-to-disk.htm is capable of doing that, but will not record broadcasts which require login on the server before user can view.

Camtasia Studio did not work with Real Player... the viedeo was messaed up. If anybody could tell me to maybe set it up differently to make it work, I would appreciate it. Or, if there is a different, good prog to do screen capture recording with sound.

    THanks!

Hmm...what about videos on the Internet that are played using a pop-up window (not Real Player/Windows Media Player/QuickTime/etc)?

if you have Mozilla Firefox you can just click on

    tools
    page info
    media

and it will give you all the media shown of the web page. scroll down until you find what you want and simply click "save as".

    i would suggest getting Firefox.
