    hi guys,
I have a Nokia 6230i and my service provider blocked my IMEI so now I can use it only on other networks(I use Sim Free) but not on mine.

can someone please tell me how I can change the IMEI so I could use my phone in my network.

    Thanks very much

Impossible to do and not get caught within an hour or less. The IMEI is what goes into the database as the information to make a call. If you were lucky enough to change an IMEI and make a call, who ever you call would be questioned and then it would be prison time for you for theft of services and in my state, you would do no less than 10 so if I were you, buy a phone and stay free!! ;)

I lost my phone a week ago and thought it was stolen, so I reported my service provider about it. yesterday I found it so now I have a phone but I can't use it in my network. I don't think there is anything illegal about it, at least in my country.

If it is your phone and you have all account information and can verify all of it to them, they will lift the bann on the current IMEI. Go to them with phone in hand, drivers liscense, ssn, password, ect. and you should have no problem getting your phone activated again.
