You could use and HDMI in to DVI out adapter or an HDMI to DVI cable, hopefully this helps you out??

I just did a google search and typed "HDMI to DVI adapters" and got some listings from different stores. I think BestBuys has an HDMI to DVI cable from Monster, but that's a ripoff in my opinion.. Monster is way overrated in my opinion.. I'm not sure if they sell the adapter though??

hi again, plugged it in and my computer crashed and would not start up again, had to give it to my mate to fix. got it back now though (obviously) and the image is crisp so thanks. one more slightly unrelated question- whenever i turn computer off or restart it it gets partly through the startup then crashes. it usually takes 4 or 5 attempts before it properly starts. any ideas why or what i could do to fix it? anyway elusiv 1 you have been a star, cheers.

Yah that happens to me when i use my laptop via S-video to connect it to my Standard Def tv. I think it's because it uses memory whenever it switches display. It probably depends on how much Ram and Video Ram you have.
