I have read a bunch of the post and I am still confused. I've tried a few of the methods but none have worked for me. Can someone help me, please. Could some one tell me what programs to use and how to use them. Thanks, in advance
Hi Bigshaff (Big Shaft?) this is a question that is not easily asked, let alone answered. What precisely do you want to do, what hardware do you have and what precisely are you willing to invest financially and time wise. Answer the following : What hardware do you currently have? What do you want to do? (Copy DVD-DVD, to CD, to PC, DivX, VCD, SVCD?) When you have those questions answered we might be able to help you! Oh and it is backing up, not copying! Paul.
I have a Philips dvd+rw I think the model # is 208/17? It saysdvd+rw 200 series on the front. I would like to try do back up my dvds to dvdr or dvdrw without spending to much money. Thanks, Matt
So, you have the hardware, you are going to need to read some articles on this site, download some software from this site and if you get stuck ask some questions in the forums (if you have checked and can't already find the answer) I guarantee you it won't be easy, it could even become frustrating, but you will get there and it will be worth it ;-) Few starter tips, simple program to get started is DVDecrypter, download that. Also get Nero from www.ahead.com and other bits mentioned in the articles section can all be downloaded on this site. Good luck, Paul.
Thanks man, I have got both. How do I get started, is there a particular thread or something that will help me?
