How do I copy my back up copy?

    Lost my original copy of The Matrix.I have my backup copy useing DVDXCOPY Express.I have used Nero ultra edtion but ended up with 3 coasters.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    hmmmmmm, that's sort of a tricky question.
    Seeing as your suppose to only keep a backup as long as ya got the original.

    Let's say you still had your original, but wanted a second back up just in case (well why not?), any third party (ie not DVDxCOPY) proprietary ripper, such as SmartRipper or DVDDecrypter should be able to rip the movie again, then you could process it with, say DVDShrink or DVD2ONE and RObert's you father's brother, so to speak.

    DVD X will NOT allow you to make a copy of a copy. This is partially how they succeeded beating the court battles so far.

    Also, the latest versions insert a FBI-like notice in the front which shows the viewer that this is a copy.

    Since it is a backup, I would assume it has already been made into a dvd5 to fit on a dvdr. I would just use DVD Decrypter to read the entire disk in as an iso then write it back out, no need to reprocess it that way.

    i,ve never yet had problems backing up backups i.e. xcopy or xpress when using nero. must be one of the lucky ones.
