Hi there, quick problem thats been doing my head in for days. I have bought an Emprex Dual layer internal DVD rewriter and NERO 6 and using DVD-43 and also have dvd shrink downloaded. I have tried to copy a few DVD's but these burn the copies into DVD-ROM and they only play on my computer, not my home DVD players. I managed to burn one into DVd_movie and it plays on my home DVD players but I'm damned if I know how to burn onto DVD-Movie, it keeps doing it in DVD-ROM. Basically I want to be able to copy them to a format that my DVD players will play and not DVD-ROM, will be grateful for any replies.
huh? just rip & compress with shrink, you can set it up to use nero and let shrink burn the disk at the same time. to burn a dvd movie disk just using nero (assuming you have a folder containing all the video files (BUP IFO VOB etc) just open up nero - go to create dvd movie and drag all those files into the video ts folder
I've just done the usual google scan, and your burner ain't the best. a few folk reckon? If you slow yer burn down, to a stagger,or maybe even a miander..you'll burn less coasters that way. gringle
